Our Story
Pascale’s Story
Pascale grew up in Champaign, Illinois, spending much of her early years playing tennis, singing, and making art. She studied graphic design and painting at the University of Illinois and is a talented graphic designer.
Aidan’s Story
Aidan grew up in Champaign, IL, just a block away from Pascale. He spent his early years learning the drums and played in his church, the school drumline, and in his free time. He went on to the University of Illinois to study computer science and is now working as a software engineer.
Our Relationship
Aidan and Pascale met in high school in 2013, became close in sophomore year, and started dating on Valentine's Day 2014. They've since traveled, graduated college, and built their careers together over the past decade, creating cherished memories along the way.
The Proposal
Under the guise of taking sunny, summery family pictures while some of Pascale's family was here from Chile, we met at Allerton Park in the Sunken Gardens. After many photos with the family, we took pictures of each couple until Aidan and Pascale were the last ones standing at the top of the steps. When Pascale looked away, Aidan got down on one knee.
